announced today that its AMSEC LLC subsidiary has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). The contract is in support of design, acquisition, production, integration, testing, installation and configuration management of certified C5ISR capabilities (command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), with a specific focus on submarine and surface ship new construction. AMSEC was one of several contractors awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that contains a one-year base period with four one-year option periods which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative ceiling value for all awardees to approximately $900 million.
