Superconductor Technologies Inc. to Raise $2M in Registered Direct Offering

Superconductor Technologies Inc.

("STI"), a world leader in the development and production of high temperature superconducting (HTS) materials and associated technologies, today announced the pricing of a registered direct offering of 6,250,000 shares of common stock at an offering price of $0.32 per share. The gross proceeds to STI from this offering are expected to be $2.0 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other estimated offering expenses. The offering is expected to close on December 18, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions. Aegis Capital Corp. is acting as the sole placement agent for this offering.
