US stock futures are slightly higher this morning, as investors are awaiting earnings from Boeing Co

and new home sales data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 11 points to 13,052.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 3.10 points to 1,409.90. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 2.50 points to 2,663.00. US stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipping 1.82% to 13,102.53, the S&P 500 index falling 1.44% to 1,413.11 and the Nasdaq 100 index dropping 0.88% to 2,990.46. The flash manufacturing PMI for October will be released at 9 a.m. ET. However, data on new home sales for September will be released at 10 a.m. ET.
