Aprimo Announces Global Cloud Expansion

and a global leader in cloud-based digital and integrated marketing management (IMM) solutions, today announced it has recently expanded the capacity of the Aprimo Global Cloud, which now comprises multiple data centers in the U.S. and Europe, to ensure rapidly scalable, global coverage for the more than 1,500 customers currently running various Aprimo solutions in the cloud. The expanded capacity, which is expected to become available to customers around year-end, will accommodate the growing number of Aprimo customers using Aprimo Digital Messaging Center, which is now available worldwide and can be purchased separately or as part of Aprimo's market-leading Integrated Marketing Management (IMM) suite. The announcement was made from the 2012 Teradata PARTNERS User Group conference being held this week in Washington, D.C. Customers there were told that the expansion includes increases in engineering, operations and support staff plus physical capacity upgrades, and will allow users to meet both immediate and long-term scalability requirements by providing a solid foundation and global presence for future growth. "Customers select Aprimo for cloud-based solutions because they can leverage operational vs. capital expenditures for their IMM and digital marketing needs," said Robin Fleming, vice president, Aprimo Cloud Services. "Plus, the expanded Aprimo Global Cloud frees them to focus on achieving their business objectives instead of managing IT infrastructure and operations." Aprimo is making significant investments in world-class technology across all of its data centers to support growing customer demand for speed, stability and availability in their cloud computing. Some of these improvements include: high-performance network virtualization fabric, industry leading switch technology, high availability application delivery controllers, and back-up/de-duplication accelerators – all of which optimize data center performance. "Cloud deployment is the future platform of choice for most marketing applications," said Mark Madsen, research analyst at Third Nature. "The investment Aprimo is making reflects growing demand for cloud-deployed marketing applications and confirms their dedication to this model as a key element of future IT operations."
