CAE Awarded C$85M in Contracts

today announced that it has sold six simulators to customers in Asia and North America: one for Bombardier Aerospace to support in the development of the Global(i) 7000(i) and Global 8000(i) aircraft program; one Boeing 737-800 to Alaska Airlines; one A320 for the Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and three simulators for the Zhuhai Flight Training Centre in China: an Airbus A330, a Boeing 737 and a Boeing 777. In addition, CAE sold simulator updates to various customers. The contracts are worth a total of more than C$85 million at list prices, and bring the total number of simulator sales that CAE has announced to date during fiscal year 2013 to 16."We are excited about supporting Bombardier once again in their new aircraft development programs using CAE's unique simulation engineering expertise and we are very pleased to welcome Alaska Airlines as a new full-flight simulator customer," said Jeff Roberts, CAE's Group President, Civil Simulation Products, Training and Services.
