Macau Gambling Revenue Surges 12% In September

Gambling revenue in Macau surged 12% y/y in September. Gambling revenue in the month rose to 23.87 billion patacas ($2.99 billion), from MOP21.24 billion, in the year-ago month. However, revenue rose 5.5% y/y in August. Analysts were expecting revenue to rise 20% in September. In the first nine months of the year, Macau gambling revenue climbed 15% y/y to MOP223.3 billion.
