Health Net Federal Services Receives Full HIPAA Accreditation from URAC

, announced today it has been awarded full Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy (Business Associate & Covered Entity), Version 3.0 accreditation from URAC, an independent, nonprofit health care accrediting organization dedicated to promoting health care quality through accreditation, certification and commendation. “Health Net Federal Services' URAC accreditation for HIPAA Privacy demonstrates our commitment and accountability to designated national standards and safeguards established by HIPAA to ensure the privacy, protection and integrity of personal and identifiable health information of those we serve,” said Tom Carrato, president of Health Net Federal Services. “Health Net Federal Services should be commended for meeting strict quality standards,” said Alan P.
