announced Sunday the Best Buy Trade-In Plus program, a new service offering for mobile phones that improves trade-in values for customers. The program rewards those customers who upgrade their post-paid mobile device at any Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile store with $50 incremental gift card value, in addition to the trade-in value of the used device being exchanged. "The Best Buy Trade-In Plus program offers a real advantage for customers who want to upgrade their device and are looking to save money in the process," said George Sherman, senior vice president of Services for Best Buy. Best Buy Trade-In Plus is free when purchased with Geek Squad Protection at any Best Buy store. The comprehensive service plan available at Best Buy stores provides 24/7 repair, service and in some cases, full replacement. The holder of any Geek Squad Protection plan in good standing will receive the $50 gift card when trading in for a new phone.
