, has received a $1.7 million order from an agency within the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) for its credential-based access control systems. Delivery under the order was completed in the second quarter of 2012. The order is part of a sustainability program developed by Hirsch Identive for the DoJ agency to support the agency's long-term security initiatives, and encompasses multiple deployment sites across the U.S. To address the large number, scope and critical nature of the deployment locations, this latest contract includes the creation of a customized training program for agency technicians at agency sites and the purchase of spare components to ensure immediately availability when needed.
