Zipcar Adds American Express Vice Chairman Ed Gilligan to Its Board of Directors

today announced the election of Ed Gilligan, vice chairman of American Express Company, as a member of its board of directors. Mr. Gilligan, along with Zipcar Chairman and CEO Scott Griffith and long-time board member Bob Kagle, were elected as Class 1 directors at Zipcar's Annual Meeting of Stockholders held on May 31, 2012.
