Prudential To Acquire SRLC America For $621M

Prudential PLC

agreed to acquire SRLC America Holding Corp. from Swiss Re

for GBP398 million (US$621 million) in cash. The deal is likely to complete in the third quarter of this year. Prudential shares closed at $20.76 yesterday.
