Costco Same-Store Sales Rise 4% In May

reported a 4% rise in its May same-store sales. Its total sales surged 7% to $7.67 billion, versus $7.14 billion, in the year-ago month. Same-store sales gained 5% in the US and rose 3% internationally. Analysts were projecting same-store sales to rise 4.3%. COST shares closed at $85.81 yesterday.
