China April Industrial Profits Down 2.2%

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Chinese industrial companies' profits dropped 2.2% y/y in April. Industrial-sector profits declined to 407.6 billion yuan ($64.2 billion). In the first four months of the year, state-controlled enterprises profits declined 9.9% y/y to 457.8 billion yuan.
