Volkswagen Vehicle Deliveries Surge 6% In April

reported a rise in deliveries in April. Group deliveries climbed 6% to 732,000 vehicles in April. In the January to April period, group deliveries gained 8.6% to 2.89 million vehicles. Deliveries gained 5.6% in Germany, 23% in North America and 32% in Central and Eastern Europe. Deliveries climbed around 17% in the Asia-Pacific region and 0.5% in South America. Volkswagen shares closed at $32.14 yesterday.
