Sales at General Motors Co
GM and its China joint ventures climbed 11.7% y/y in April to 227,217 vehicles.
Sales of passenger cars by Shanghai GM dropped 2.2% to 94,101 vehicles, while sales at SAIC-GM-Wuling jumped 22% to 117,829 vehicles. Sales at FAW-GM came in at 5,141 vehicles.
For the first four months of the year, sales at GM and its joint ventures climbed 9.4% y/y to 972,369 vehicles.
GM shares closed at $22.36 on Friday.
