FONAR Board of Directors Appoints Independent Director

today announced that on Thursday, April 26, 2012, its board of directors had appointed Ronald G. Lehman as a replacement independent director to fill vacancies on the Company's board of directors and audit committee. FONAR shareholders will have an opportunity to confirm the appointment at the annual shareholder meeting scheduled for June 25, 2012.
