St. Jude Medical Launches New Trifecta Heart Valve in Japan

St. Jude Medical, Inc.

today announced regulatory approval from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the launch of the Trifecta™ aortic stented, pericardial tissue valve. The first procedures in Japan were performed at Osaka University Hospital and Saitama Medical University International Medical Center.
