US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting weekly jobless-claims data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 42 points to 12,963.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 5.10 points to 1,388.10. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 4.50 points to 2,732.00.

European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index dropped 0.51%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.37%, French CAC 40 index fell 0.48% and German DAX 30 index dropped 0.92%. Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 0.53%, China's Shanghai Composite rising 1.74% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.38%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 0.95%.

Broker Recommendation

Analysts at Citigroup upgraded KeyCorp

KEY

from “neutral” to “buy.” The target price for KeyCorp has been raised from $8 to $10. KeyCorp shares closed at $8.28 yesterday.
