Euro-Zone PMI Declines In March
Private-sector activity declined across the euro zone in March, according to a preliminary composite purchasing managers index compiled by Markit.
Economists were expecting a composite PMI reading of 49.6 in March. The composite PMI declined to 48.7 versus 49.3 in February. The services index fell to 48.7 versus 48.78 in February, while manufacturing PMI dropped to 47.7 versus 49.0.
