Shares of Xilinx Inc

gained about 0.6% after the company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.22 per share, up from $0.19 per share in each of the immediately preceding four quarters. Shares of Goldman Sachs

gained about 1.4% after the bank raised its three-month copper view by 5% to $8,400 a metric ton. Goldman Sachs earlier expected copper at $8,000/ton. It also lifted its short-term view for zinc, lifting its three-month forecast to $2,100/ton, versus $2,050/ton. Shares of Dell Inc

gained about 0.7% after the company announced its plans to buy data security firm SonicWall Inc for an undisclosed amount. Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC, a subsidiary of Marsh Inc, reported that it has bought KSPH LLC. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
