Ahold Updates Share Buyback

Ahold (

) has repurchased 3,367,723 Ahold common shares in the period from August 29, 2011 up to and including September 2, 2011. The shares were repurchased at an average price of EUR 8.0231 per share for a total consideration of EUR 27.02 million. These repurchases were made as part of the EUR 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011. The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 41,697,951 common shares for a total consideration of EUR 377.43M.
