Euro-Zone CPI Rise 2.7% In June

Consumer prices surged 2.7% in June compared to the year-ago period, the European Union statistics agency Eursostat reported in a preliminary estimate. Consumer prices also rose 2.7% in May. However, economists were expecting annual CPI to rise to 2.8% in June.
