Taiwan Stocks Open At 52-Week High, But End Tuesday Down 0.24%

The Taiwan Capitalization Weighted Stock Index, or the TSEC weighted index, opened the Tuesday trading session in Taiwan at a 52-week high of 8,919.26, which was slightly higher than the previous trading day's close of 8,892.31. The TSEC weighted index moved back and forth between negative and positive territory during early trading but by the late morning the index was down and remained in negative territory for the rest of the Tuesday trading session, ending the day down 21.55 points, or 0.24%, at 8,870.76.
