Harmony Gold, Peers Finish Day Down


Harmony Gold Mining Co. (ADR) (NYSE: HMY) finished Wednesday in the red, down over 7 percent. Most major peers were also down on the day.

The stock is trading at a Forward P/E of 8.21 and P/B of 0.98, both below industry averages. Harmony shares are up 106 percent over the past year. 

Newmont Mining Corp (NYSE: NEM) and Barrick Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE: ABX) also fell more than 8 percent.

Randgold Resources Ltd. (ADR) (NASDAQ: GOLD) announced on Wednesday's pre-market session a notification of major interest in shares, according to Benzinga Pro.
