WSJ- Twitter Worth $7 Billion

According to the
Wall Street Journal,
Twitter is now worth $7 billion, having raised hundreds of millions in a few financing round, according to a person close to the situation. It is not known who is participating in this round of financing, although the company did raise $200 million seven months ago in a round led by noted venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Based on the approximate $150 million in revenues that Twitter is projected to do this year, that would value the microblogging social networking site at approximately 45 times revenue.
