Mike Khouw spoke on CNBC's "Options Action" about unusually high bullish options activity in Charter Communications, Inc. CHTR. He said that he saw more than seven times average daily call options volume in the name on Tuesday.
He also noticed that more than 3,000 contracts of the July 345 calls were traded for $4.70. The trade breaks even at $349.70 or 6.01 percent above the current stock price. Khouw thinks that traders are buying calls, because the company announced that it managed to sell $1.5 billion of debt.
