Jon Najarian Sees Unusual Options Activity In Weatherford And Splunk

On CNBC's Fast Money Halftime Report, Jon Najarian said that he noticed unusually high bullish options activity in Weatherford International Plc WFT. Traders were buying the March 6 calls in the name. Najarian revealed that he owns a call spread in Weatherford and he's going to hold it for a month.

He also noticed some bearish options activity in Splunk Inc SPLK on Tuesday. There was a big options volume in the January weekly, 55 strike puts on a day when the stock is trading around 5 percent lower. Najarian owns put options in Splunk and he is planning to hold them for two days.
