Todd Gordon suggested on CNBC's Trading Nation that viewers should consider a short term bearish options strategy in PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bullish UUP.

Gordon believes the short-term trend has changed as the stock recorded a couple of lower lows. He thinks that PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bullish might continue to trade lower and he wants to sell a call spread to profit from a potential move lower. Gordon wants to sell the January 27 expiration, 26 strike call and buy the January 27 expiration, 27 strike call for a net credit of $0.43. The break even for the trade is at $26.43 and it can maximally lose $0.57.
