Dan Nathan spoke on the show about unusually high options activity in
Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.WMT. He said that call options volume was twice the put options volume on Thursday and that was a second day in a row.
Nathan noticed that the July 75 call options were pretty active on Thursday as 5,000 were traded. He added that 17,000 contracts were traded on Wednesday.
Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is trading around an important support level and Nathan emphasized that it has been trading in range between $70 and $80 for a while, with an exception earlier in the year when it broke out above $80. Currently, the stock is in a downtrend and Nathan believes that the company has to do something to get investors back.
