On
CNBC's Fast Money
, traders debated on the airline industry. Pete Najarian and Tim Seymour are bullish on the space, while Guy Adami and Dan Nathan are bearish. Najarian is encouraged by the earnings report of
Delta Air Lines, Inc.DAL
, particularly by the CEO's statement that 2015 is the year of a big opportunity. When it comes to
Delta
he likes the way it improved its cash flow and reduced its debt. Najarian added that the big three companies in the space are doing a great job. Nathan agrees that Delta is a stock to own, but
United Continental Holdings IncUAL
and
American Airlines Group IncAAL
have much larger debt to equity ratios. He would stay away from them. Seymour said that he was concerned with the airlines in the environment of low crude oil prices because of the lack of discipline. Delta's report made him change his opinion. Adami thinks that if crude oil starts to bottom we are going to see a sell off in the airline space. He added that the airlines raise capacity in the wrong time for decades. Najarian commented that new CEOs are not going to make that mistake.
