Speaking on CNBC's Options Action, Mike Khouw said that he noticed an unusually high options activity in Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE: TSL). Most of the volume was concentrated in the September 14 call options and buyers were paying $0.70 for those.

The breakeven for this trade is at $14.70 and buyers are expecting the stock to trade more than five percent higher in just two weeks. It is interesting that Trina Solar moved more than five percent in a single day on 20 occasions in the last year. Khouw thinks that options are an ideal instrument to use for a stock this volatile.

Trina Solar gained 0.58 percent Thursday and closed at $13.93.
