PNRA Ron Shaich appeared on CNBC discussing the company's quarterly earnings. He noted the following:
-Inflation is becoming more moderate on year-over year basis.
-Corn is the most important commodity because it drives everything else.
-The company as bought back half of the $600M share buyback authorization.
-Panera is contrarian. When the "boom-days" were happening the company pulled back and vice-versa.
-The company is about building trust.
