FOX Business Network (
FBN
) will debut a new primetime program hosted by Eric Bolling on Monday, June 21st, announced Kevin Magee, Executive Vice President of the network. "Money Rocks with Eric Bolling" will appear weeknights at 8 PM/ET replacing The Dave Ramsey Show. The announcement comes on the heels of the launch of the Willis Report (5-6 PM/ET) which debuted yesterday and replaced Happy Hour, for which Bolling was a co-host. In making the announcement Magee said, “Eric’s 20 plus years of experience as a top Wall Street trader along with his insights on the market have proven to be an invaluable asset to the network.” FOX News and FOX Business Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes, who hired Bolling from CNBC, added, “Eric’s ability to boil down complex financial issues to expose their real-world implications makes him the ideal choice to strengthen FBN’s primetime lineup.” Breaking down the day’s top stories, Money Rocks will offer an upbeat and irreverent take on stories that intersect among business, politics, sports and celebrity, poking holes in the conventional wisdom throughout. The program will utilize a variety of guests to examine how money affects these worlds above and beyond Wall Street. Bolling added, “I’m thrilled to embark on this new opportunity and look forward to kicking off FBN’s primetime line-up.” Prior to joining FBN shortly after the network’s fall 2007 debut, Bolling was a panelist on CNBC’s Fast Money for two years. Previously he served as an independent trader based out of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) specializing in commodities such as crude oil, gold, and agricultural properties. In addition to Money Rocks, FBN will add a new weekend program entitled Freedom Watch premiering Saturday, June 12th at 10 AM/ET with encore presentations on Saturday at 8 PM/ET and Sunday at 7 PM/ET. Hosted by Judge Andrew Napolitano, the show will explore the topic of economic liberties and consumer rights as outlined by the United States Constitution. Each week Napolitano will be joined by a panel of legal and business experts to debate the expanding role of the government and how it affects taxpayers. Former Governor Sarah Palin and Dr. Rand Paul will be among the guests on Saturday’s debut episode. Stossel, which currently runs at 8 PM/ET on Thursday evenings will now shift to 9PM/ET and continue to be presented weekly.
