Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus 104,000 head a year ago. April live cattle is trading at 117.30, down 0.62 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 107.50, down 0.05 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 102.60, up 0.17 cents/lb.
