USD/CAD Moves Up, Canada's Wholesale Sales Edge Up

USD/CAD is trading at 1.3155, up 0.0048.

The pair is trading at the session highs. Market talk about recent comments from U.S. and Canadian policy makers is making the rounds.

Statistics Canada reported on Monday that Canadian wholesale sales rose 0.7 percent in December versus a rise of 0.1 percent in November. Statistics Canada is scheduled to release retail sales data Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
