Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 96,000 head versus 108,000 head a year ago.
April live cattle is trading at 113.12, down 0.12 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 104.05, down 0.10 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 100.35, down 0.07 cents/lb.
