Lean Hog Futures Little Lower

April lean hogs are trading at 69.42, down 0.15 cents/lb. June lean hogs are trading at 77.67, down 0.17 cents/lb Lean hog futures are trading steady to lower just after the open. Market chatter about weather ahead and cash prices is making the rounds. Thursday's USDA hog slaughter was 440,000 head, the total for the week is now 1,768,000 head versus a year ago at 1,555,000 head.
