U.S. Dollar Index Edges Up , Unit Labor Costs Rise

The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 99.39, down 0.21. The U.S. dollar index is trading choppy and has edged up off the lows of the day. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that unit labor costs during the fourth quarter rose 1.7 percent versus a rise of 0.2 percent in the third quarter. Non-farm productivity was 1.3 percent.
