North American Cocoa Grinds Fall

The National Confectioners Association (NCA) released North American Fourth Quarter Cocoa Grind data today after the close of futures trading. North American cocoa grinding was down 1.1 percent during the last three months of 2016 versus a year ago. The report showed 117,588 tonnes of cocoa beans ground during the fourth quarter of 2016 versus 118,896 tonnes of cocoa beans ground during the fourth quarter of 2015.
