USDA Export Sales, Beef and Pork

The USDA reported today that beef weekly export sales for the current year period ending December 29th totaled 1,700 tonnes. Sales were down 83 percent from the previous week and down 56 percent from the four week average. There were 5,200 tonnes sold for 2017. Pork export sales for this year totaled 300 tonnes, sales were down 93 percent from the previous week and down 96 percent from the four week average. There were 14,200 tonnes sold for 2017.
