USD/JPY Little Higher, Japan's Household Spending Falls, Unemployment Edges Up

USD/JPY is trading at 117.28, up 0.09

Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications reported that Japan's unemployment rate rose to 3.1 percent during November from 3.0 percent in October. The agency reported that year over year household spending in Japan fell 1.5 percent in November after a 0.4 percent decline in October. On the month November household spending in Japan edged down 0.6 percent after 1 percent fall in October.
