USDA Export Sales; Soybean Futures Little Lower

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending December 8th totaled 2,008,400 tonnes. Sales were up 44 percent from the previous week and 33 percent from the four week average. There were 396,500 tonnes sold for 2017 to 2018. Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 200,000 tonnes. Sale were down 10 percent from the previous week and down 23 percent from four week average. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 40,300 tonnes. Sales were up 49 percent from the four week average. January Soybeans are trading at 1021 3/4, down 2 cents/bushel. January Soymeal is trading at 312.0, down 0.8 $/ton. January Soybean Oil is trading at 36.98, up 0.06 cents/lb.
