Cocoa Futures Little Changed

March New York Cocoa is trading at 2400, down 2 $/MT. May New York Cocoa is trading at 2392 down 1 $/MT. New York cocoa futures are trading steady just after the open. Market chatter about global currency values, West African cocoa supplies and positioning ahead of the end of the month is making the rounds. Ivory Coast port arrivals for cocoa beans for the period from November 21st to November 27th totaled about 63,000 tonnes versus 65,000 tonnes a year ago. Total port arrivals since October 1st are now about 423,000 tonnes versus 512,000 tonnes a year ago.
