Corn Futures Trading Lower

December Corn is trading at 341 1/2, down 2 cents/bushel. March Corn is trading at 349 3/4, down 2 1/4 cents/bushel. Corn futures are trading just above the session lows. The USDA reported on Thursday that corn export sales for 2016 to 2017 as of November 3rd are now 46 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 46 percent. The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange has estimated that Argentina's corn planting is just under 40 percent done. The nation's corn area was left unchanged at 4.9 million hectares.
