Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 114,000 head versus a year ago at 112,000 head. October live cattle is trading at 106.92, down 1.62 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 106.72, down 1.62 cents/lb. February live cattle is trading at 107.20, down 1.27 cents/lb.
