Lean Hog Futures Higher

October lean hogs are trading at 55.27, up 0.35 cents /lb. December lean hogs are trading at 48.50, up 0.32 cents/lb. February lean hogs are trading at 53.00, up 0.32 cents/lb. Lean hog futures are trading higher after Monday's sharply lower trading session. Market chatter about weather ahead for hog weights and consumer demand is making the rounds. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's monthly cold storage report is due out Friday afternoon. Trading is expected to be choppy.
