USD/CAD Steady, Canadian Building Permits Edge Up

USD/CAD is trading at 1.2878, down 0.0004. The pair is trading choppy and on both sides of unchanged. Statistics Canada reported that building permits rose 0.8 percent in July versus a decline of 5.3 percent in June. The new house price index rose 0.4 percent versus a rise of 0.1 percent in June and capacity utilization was 80 percent versus 81.4 percent.
