Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 112,000 head versus a year ago at 104,000 head. October live cattle is trading at 114.52, down 0.02 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 115.07, down 0.22 cents/lb. February live cattle is trading at 114.45, down 0.20 cents/lb.
