Live Cattle Futures Little Changed

October live cattle is trading at 114.60, up 0.10 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 115.35, up 0.05 cents/lb. Nearby August live cattle is trading at 116.25, up 0.22 cents/lb. Live cattle futures are trading choppy and on both sides of unchanged. Market chatter about cash prices and the USDA grain report due out at 12:00 p.m. ET is making the rounds. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's cattle-on-feed report is due out Friday August 19th. Some chatter about less than stellar consumer demand is lingering in the background.
