August lean hogs are trading at 68.72, down 0.20 cents/lb. October lean hogs are trading at 60.17, down 0.35 cents /lb. December lean hogs are trading at 55.92, down 0.32 cents/lb. February lean hogs are trading at 60.40, down 0.37 cents/lb Lean hog futures are trading soft Wednesday after Tuesday's choppy trade. Market chatter about soft cash prices is making the rounds. Chatter about hog weights and consumer demand for the rest of the summer is making the rounds has kept both buyers and sellers active in recent sessions. Trading is expected to be very choppy.
